Was Jack Hughes a good first round pick?

Was Jack Hughes a “good” first overall pick for the devils.

Is Jack Hughes Reliable?

Jack Hughes is an American hockey player who currently is on The New Jersey Devils. Before this year Jack Hughes played on the U-18 National team competing against other teams from around the world. Throughout Jack’s career he hasn’t really been known for his goal scoring capabilities, but for more of a pass first guy or even a play maker. On Jack’s last time on the U-18 team he ended up doubling his goals (34) with assists (78). Now that Hughes is in the NHL he has had a somewhat slow start with only a total of 12 points in 27 games. The two picks after Hughes (Kappo Kakko and Kirby Dach) are not performing well either with Kakko at 14 points and Dach at only 10, it’s safe to say that the top-3 are under performing. So, Jack Hughes in a sense isn’t doing too bad especially on a team who was the worst in the league last year he’s helped on the devils fore check and is a reliable piece to their power play. The only thing that he truly needs is just more time and experience and he will, in short time, be one of the best in the league.
